Random thoughts thread

Pretty sure there`s a domestic abuse situation in the apartment above mine. Had to call the cops on them last week. Today I hear loud stomping, crashing almost like a fight, then yelling and screaming between a man and a woman.
 
Did you ever notice no matter what happens in the world, there is someone trying to get you to buy gold as a hedge.
 
my charity auction donation for my car club`s backpack drive ends today at midnight

it`s at $425 and was originally for a 1 step w/essence and reload topper but I decided to offer them a coating instead since the bidding got pretty high (probably shouldn`t have but I guess I`m just a nice guy-haha)

hoping it gets one final bid out from the two guys left bidding (either way I think they are both hellcat challengers- one white and one black)
 
I have a good stock of supplies. I saw a mobile detailer while on a walk and noticed he was using a bed sheet and bath towels on a customer`s car. Now I have no doubts in my choice of gear or my skills as a detailer. All I need is more clients....

eventually the ones looking will see the light (at least that`s what I`ve been telling myself the last 3 years)
 
Well looks like I will be adding another hellcat to the detail books

This one tri coat black, my absolute favorite Mopar color :)

And has 965 REAR wheel horsepower on the juice

Auction ended up at 500 (1/2 of our clubs Entire goal)

That`s a lot of backpacks for local kids fixing to start back to school. Pretty cool if you ask me.

My favorite is when they say how worthless paper money is because it is based on nothing. But gold is a real asset that will never be worth zero.
Then they turn right around and offer to trade some of that valuable gold for your worthless paper money.:hmmm:

I`m not much of a Dodge fan, but those charger hellcats seem like a fun daily for a family. If only they could get them on a diet and get that weight down. I`ll be awaiting more pictures of it, beautiful color.

Anything with 4 doors and 700+ hp might be a fun daily, lol

I think we have all been there. I`m by no means always busy, but there is a very large Mopar show in Dallas at the end of August and I think half of our car club wanted me to detail their Mopar before that date, so I closed up shop for the general public and booked all of my days off with cars I`d rather be doing anyways- an idealistic goal I had placed in motion a few months ago.

It`s a struggle for the most part, however I no longer even do basic washes unless you are an existing client. It`s just a waste of my time and money personally. Back when I was getting started, that`s all could get though. I guess it`s kind of like paying your detailing dues. (not that I have fully paid mine, but I have definitely paid a couple at least)


how are you trying to get clients?
