I think the calendar is lying, it can`t possibly be May. If the weather will ever cooperate so I can try out this Victoria wax.

At 220 each installed (no warranty) they`re hard to beat for 305 35 20
I got 3 years and about 27k miles on the first set of rears

I dont drive conservatively

I used to have a coworker with a 680+whp Corvette that got longer tire life when he ran DOT legal drag radials than when he ran high performance tires since they were better at staying hooked up.

He heated them up once and stuck a launch one time when we were going to lunch - made my stomach feel funny!

This is my daily driver now so I cant afford radials anymore, for safety and monetary reasons. These are summer only tires but they work ok in the rain. The radials I had in the past, not so much.

Maybe I missed something here but the tire you have pictured sure looks like a radial. Did you mean no drag radials. What is the service description on the tire?

Aren`t all tires radials these days? The only tires I thought were bias-ply were the specialized ones on the market for vintage vehicles.

On another note, I didn`t even know Mickey Thompson made performance street tires. I only knew them from their wheels and those giant mudders people run here on their trucks that howl like a WWII fighter plane on the interstate.

You`re fortunate you can run performance tires year round. I love my summers, but they have to come off for the colder part of the year. It`s probably for the best in some ways because with a 200~300 wear rating they wouldn`t last very long if I did run them year-round.

First round of interviews Wednesday for a promotion in the cubicle jungle

Dont wish me luck, I carve my own path through hard work.

BUT I might have to hang up the polishers for a while..not that I was getting to use them much so far this year anyways.

Interco is one company that still makes biased-ply offroad tires that can be run on the streets.
