There's not too many things I miss about the States, but Ranch dressing is one of them. I've been in Hungary for 8 years now and there's just a lot of stuff that you can get in the US that just aren't available here and vice versa. Recently I was at the supermarket and I bought some salad and dressing to go with it, but it was a "mystery" dressing named "kértész öntet" (garden dressing). I got home and made dinner and a salad and when I took the first bite of my salad, my taste buds said, "Dude, that tastes familiar..." and with the 2nd bite I was sure... it was RANCH!! Score !! I went back to the market and bought like 6 more bottles of it
. Since then I've enjoyed it on pizza, eggs, fries, mozzarella sticks and even on my salad... I know it's korny telling you all about my Ranch experience, but it's really the little things that make me happy; I'm a simple man :heelclick.
