RainX on side windows

I'm a rainX user, it's always been cheap, easy and worked for my windshields. Wondering if anyone uses it on all windows to avoid water spotting?

Thanks

I've found using either Clearkote Quikshine detail spray or ONR (regular or wash and wax) at detailer strength to clean glass also gives them a RainX effect that last longer than RainX does. Only issue you run into with Quikshine is it smears on the two front passenger windows on Lexus cars only, due to a factory glass treatment that Quikshine doesn't play well with. Any other car, zero issues. And I use with QS or ONR on all exterior (and interior) glass. As soon as you start moving, so does do the beads of water on the glass.

I aquapel all my glass, even my outside mirrors and sunroof :D

I also use sealant on the inside of all my glass.

Absolutely. It can be used on all glass w/o any issue.

While I'll never apply Rainx to the windshield, I certainly do use it on all other glass including the sunroof panel.

My last two new vehicles had a permanent water shedding coating on my driver and passenger side windows.  Rain-X not needed.  Check your owners manual and see if this is the case on your vehicle.

Tom, do you have problems with it making wipers chatter? Ive not ever noticed problems with it, which is why i keep using.

Yeah, it's been a nightmare on every car I've done so I don't do it any longer.   It can get really bad.
