There is no cure!
this product does not last. it smells really solventy. gets all over the place if u dont use and applicator. streaks if u dont buff off good.
but one thing it does do. it gives one really nice look and hides the crap out of stains. recently ive been using PB trim restorer a lot for exterior trim and plannign on usuing my adams to follow up and maintain right?
well yesterday after the storms hit here in florida my mom practically begged me to give her car she uses for work a quick cleanup. she keeps her garage queen nice and clean thanks to me and only uses it on special occasions or the weekends. well after i cleaned her car i noticed it felt pretty dry and looked kinda bad. last time i gave that car a detail was probably 4 months ago and i only used once coat of nattys (wasnt really looking for long term protection). i was really limited on time since there was more bad weather to come so i pulled out some nu finish. yes i said nu finish! if i ever wanna use a cleanerwax this would be it. cleaned the waterspots and paint quite nice while leaving a shiney fake look. but thig isnt about nu fisnh so ill get on with the point. the nu finsh stained some areas of the ext trim that even the mr.clean eraser had some duty cleaning it up. i got probably 75% of the stains out but the eraser left the areas i cleaned looking real dull and greyish! i reached for PB TR but the areas that were stained or dull were looking really noticeable. thinking i was gonna leave it like that i started reading the stoners TS label and it said it hides wax stains. feeling there wasnt much to lose i grabbed some diluted simple green (9:1) and quickly rubbed off the PB TR. got an tire swipe out and sprayed the stoners on and started applying it to the trim. WOW! it really did hide the stains. i was shocked at how good it was and how PB TR and adams never did that.
all in all, despite the faults stoenrs has and the fact it doesnt last, if u ever need to hide some stains, try some TS!
not much of a quikie ehh!
