Quick Z-5 question

Hi Everyone,

I have 3 coats of Z-2 on my car now. I have a few minor swirls and have ordered Z-5. Can I just apply the Z-5 on top of the exsisting Z-2 (which is three months old) ? Keep in mind I will do a full detail in the Spring, but am busy now and would like to avoid having to remove the exsisting Z-2.

Thanks,

Gabe

You don't have to remove the existing Z2.

Just wash and dry the car, do a quick wipedown with Z6. Add your layers of Z5.

I actually alternate Z2 and Z5 for about 4 or 5 layers.

(PS... If you don't have Z6, that's OK. You can layer anyway, as long as there isn't any wax or waxy QD on top of the Z2.)

Gabe,

Yes, you can apply the Z5 over Z2 or Z2Pro. What you are going to do is a perfect example on how to use Z5, to cover newly acquired light marring that may only be in the existing Z2. :xyxthumbs
