Quick Review: Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection

Thanks everyone. I should mention the Tahoe has 75,000 miles on it so don't think "anything looks good on a new vehicle".

I'm with you on the pictures Al. I was very lucky to capture the shots I did. As you can see my driveway is not level which doesn't help. I have a church down the street that I may start shooting after pictures at. :hmmm:

Richard,

Thank you for the review of Blackfire Wet Diamond. I just ordered it along with several other BF products. My black 911 should be here next month and with the weather warming up I'm looking forward to 2 coats of BFWD AFPP. I can't wait to see the results on my car.

No problem Jim, I'm positive you will like the line.

I put some BFWD on the wife's car this past weekend but it had rained several days and cloudy so have not been able to really look it over in the sun. It is Tuxdeo Black Metallic so it could really look like anything.

i have a jeep on the farm i just use for field work and such, does blackfire make a heavy duty or offroad product?

Not really. All BLACKFIRE Products, as benefits from the "heavy duty" Wet Diamond polymers, are going to offer the best possible protection regardless of how you use your vehicle.

I don't think there is any need to do 2 coats of WDAFPP. Machine it on and let it haze. Buff off. Maybe you are thinking of the CS which is applied on top of WDAFPP? That is 2 coats 4 hours apart (how I do it). After I buff off the WDAFPP I am waiting at least 12 hours before CS.

When you guys say no dusting, it still has to be buffed off due to drying to a haze, right?

I'm still getting a good amount of dust. I'm sure I have the new version since I bought it last month. I never used the old version so I don't really have a comparison either.

I have been a happy user of Meg's products this year. I see a new body style mustang every week where I work. The black paint is very wet looking, even when dirty. I did some research and it brought me here to this product. I have 2 questions.

1. Can this be purchased over the counter anywhere in Canada or does it have to be ordered online?

2. Do I use this product between polish and wax?

I don't believe it is in any OTC places in Canada.

You can top this with BLACKFIRE's Midnight Sun or BLACKFIRE BlackICE if you choose.
