Quick impressions of some Griot's products

Last I checked, 16 oz of isopropyl alcohoil cost 59 cents.

I checked pricing on 3 seperate web sites and they were all about the same...$4-$5 for 35 oz. Maybe if you can buy it in large quantities and at wholesale prices its cheaper.....or I could be wrong.

You don 't have to agree with my opinion......hell if everyone agreed all the time this would be a boring place! :D

But you never really said whether you used the product or how it performed?

The bit about making it yourself cheaper...well I think you know MY opinion on this :xyxthumbs

Not to get in the way of you two lovebirds fighting, but just in case anyone wants to make their own window cleaner and needs to find isopropyl alcohol...almost every Walgreens i have ever been into has 16 oz bottles for $0.99 or less. So that is about $2 for 35 oz.

Edit: I hope I haven't offended anyone with this fact.

Overall, I gotta say I really like Griot's and their products. It's true that you can find the some of the same products cheaper elsewhere, like the pneumatic oil/liquid extractor.

But this is pretty much a one-stop shop for all your detailing needs. On to the product reviews...

Best of Show Wax: I like it. It's a little bit of a pain to remove if applied in large quantity, but is there a wax that's easy to remove? I don't know, that's why I'm asking.

Speed Shine: I really like it. I think it smells good, but I think jet fuel smells good too. The sprayer is cool and the price is not bad. $10 for that big bottle and sprayer...I don't mind paying it.

Orange and Yellow MF towels: I like these too. They work as advertised. What more can I say. Are there better ones out there? Dunno. I don't do this for a living so my experience w/different products is limited. The price seems fair, and they've held up well.

That's it. Their cust. svc. is great, and ordering is convenient. If you're curious about their products, give 'em a try. Cheers.

Someone stole my valve caps a week ago, so I went to GG's site to order these, and much to my surprise...

Due to manufacturers' requests, the following logos are no longer available: Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Hummer, H2, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Volkswagen.

AARRGH!

$37 is alot for valve caps, anyway... I guess I will go to the MBZ site to order their's for $15, and get them stolen again......

Maybe I could get some nice Chevy emblems for my Benz.......I would love to have them, but they do not have them for my car, that was my point...
