Just purchased this item. It comes w/ a very tiny, black, plastic piece that I have no idea what it does, where it hooks on and how it hooks on. Can someone please explain this to me. Going to use it shortly.

TYIA!!

you dont need to use that piece, atleast I dont you can put it to the side or toss it your choice...

from my understanding these foam gun (FG)can be used for tons of usage other then detailing are prized vehicles(possesions)....

but i recall some one said when you need to spray chemical in a short distant for example when a butcher need to disenfect his freezer once a month or so...(dont quote me on that)....or if you need to spray any chemicals on your grass....

i havent tried using because i only simply use th FG for car soap or rinseless products nothing else....so if your intentions is only to use it for soap or rinseless products then your fg gun is good to go....

if you decide to try using it look at you manual it should tell you how to remove it, theres a pin on top of the long black nozzle if it pops off then you place that little one on...(check manual)

Djmigs is right. I believe that piece is called a diverter. You use it in place of the large black foamer attachment to spray down something. If you are going to use yours for washing your car you can toss that piece. I don't think you'll be using the foam gun to spray weeds on your lawn.
