Quick Detailers to go with Souveran

I am gonna be using Souveran for this car show season. I would like to know which quick detailer I can go with that wont have any sort of ill effects on the Souveran Wax.

I have a BRAND NEW bottle of Z6 and Megs Ultimate Quick Detailer. Can I use one of these or do I need to buy a new QD to go with this new wax im using?

I've heard about this FK stuff before. I'm not too concerned about the dust. I rarely drive the car, and when I do it gets wiped down with a QD.

Would I be hurting the look/finish of souveran with either the Z6 or the Megs UQD?

I have never used Z6 but I have used UQD, IMO FK425 leaves a much better shine then UQD. Neither one will "hurt" the finish.

You can use any QD over Souveran.

Neither should hurt the Souveran but both Z6 and UQD have sealant like looks to them, very clear and sharp. So they will probably mute the look you get from Souveran.

I agree. Both good QDs but change the look of Souveran. I'd suggest CK Quickshine or Mothers Showtime. Great result but leave a natural look.

The problem with 425 is that it brings its own looks in that layer of sealant it leaves behind.

It does not compliment any highend waxes imo as it causes too much of a reflective finish.

By far the best choice is CM if you can afford it, or put simply QS from Clearkote, as it tends to enhance the looks of the exisiting products, rather then bring its own.

Much as I like FK425 (and I use a *LOT* of it), on waxes I prefer different QDs.

Besides the Pinnacle CM (sorta a no-brainer there but it's not quite foolproof), I like Griot's SpeedShine. Actually, the SpeedShine is my #1 QD for use on waxes....*any* waxes.

i entered my truck in a car show last saturday and it was wearin g souveran. and i used souveran spray wax when i got there just to give it a once over.. and it looked stunning.....:xyxthumbs
