Quick detailer in bulk quantity

I know the the QD detailer thread has been done to death, but i have a question regarding good QDs over Z-2 Pro. I love how Z-6 maintains the gloss, but i find myself going through a bottle really fast. I would like to buy a more economical brand in perhaps gallon sizes that compares to Z-6. I'm looking for a QD that enhances gloss like z-6 and not too much concerned about adding more durability cuz z-2 does a great job with that already. I've been thinking about Poorboys or Chemical guys QDs that enhances sealants. Any recommendations? Thanks.

I am in the same boat and have been researching this for quite some time. I'm looking at either a bulk gallon of FK 425 (~$28), DG AW (~$25), or CG SynDetailer ($23) - All are great performers so I really can't lose.

I use Meguiars Last Touch... you can get a gallon for $16-$19. Autodetailingsolutions . com has a special on it right now. $16.99 for the gallon, a sprayer and bottle, plus a MF towel.

You can also dilute Last Touch 1:1 for clay lube.

AW is an LSP for $26/gal and DG's Fast Clean and Shine is their QD for $23/gal. I love their AW haven't tried FC&S but want to.

I just started using ONR (Optimum No Rinse Wash 'n Shine) for washing, but also mixed 6oz/gal for QD (which works great!)

So, 128oz / 6oz = 21.3 gallons of QD from a gallon of ONR @$39. (39 / 21)

@$1.85 a gallon, it would be tough to beat. OOPs didn't factor in shipping ($10) so lets say $2.30/gallon of quick detail spray. Add another .70 per gal if you use distilled water.

Still gonna be tough to beat. (And then you also use it for no rinse washes AND clay lube)

ONR works very good as a QD. I also like the Megs QD that is sold OTC. It works very well in between washes.

I love #34 Final Inspection, but it's not what I would consider a "beauty" QD. Your best bet is probably with Chemical Guys or 425.
