Quick detail 996TT Black

Statman

Go Buffs!
I am not a detailer or a photographer. No before and after cause the car always looks like this...doh! Just did a quick detail before the rains. Zaino wash, Zaino AIO with PC, Z-8, Zaino leather, Zaino tire, Aero 303. First time with the AIO...very nice! Enjoy.

You're right!!!!!

NICE WORK!!!!:2thumbs: Porsche black is a real PITA, but done right sure looks great!!! No, more like stunning!!

I see he put the GT3 seats in this car. Techart front end, screens in the front (good idea).

Wheels, a bit too "bling" for me. But still nice job on them.

Still a very nice 996TT.

ZAIO seems to be doing great service, and what you did to get that black paint so nice and swirl-free with added depth shows how well you can do!! Black is the true test of a good detailer.

Once again, great work!!!!:bow

Oh yea, one thing you may want to try after the ZAIO.

Try using the new Z-CS after the ZAIO. This should really make it that much deeper and last longer.

Remember, this paint is soft as all hell. If you tok a look at my C2S as it stands now, you'd see what I mean. Damn condo assn has yet to get the water on in areas where I wash. So, for the time being.... OK, don't all yell at once.... I had to use a tunnel wash.

First big mistake was taking it one day to a chain that does it via hand and "sheepskin" mitts. Since the wheels don't fit in this car wash tunnel, they did it off to the side.

I watch as this guy is using the mitt on the finish, then go to the wheels, then back on the finish.. :furious: I was stunned, then told him to stop, rinse and I'll take it the way it is. New name for this "hand wash" is now called SCRATCH! UGH, what the F did they do?

There is one tunnel wash in the area that uses the same ones from Germany and used by MB, Porsche and others. It does the job, cleans well, no marring and I've seen some high-end cars go through and I inspected them afterwards. All look just fine.

Anyway, as soon as they get water out, I can fully clean the C2S and then pull in and polish the snot out of it.

Anyone doing late model Porsche (996-997) use mild polishes as this paint is soft.

BMW on the other hand... hard as nails!!!

Deanski
