Quick 6 hour Jeep Wrangler Rubicon detail with HD Speed

I had a customer looking for a budget friendly correction, so I offered to hit his Jeep up with some HD Speed.

It was pretty dirty, but not too horrible. I did a 2 bucket wash with HD Wash, decontaminated with Iron X and a Nanoskin mitt, and dried with my Master Blaster.

The paint had its fair share of swirls and scratches, some of which were a bit too deep to remove. Still, I knew I could knock out a majority of the defects with my Flex 3401 and some orange Lake Country Hybrids.

I got some great results on the hood.

The sides were beat up pretty bad from going off road and rubbing against some branches, but I did what I could to reduce the appearance of the deep scratches.

We knew the finish wouldn't be flawless, but it still came out pretty nice.

Tires and plastic trim were coated with HD Dress. This stuff is new to me but so far I'm liking it.

Both the customer and myself were happy with the results. I'd say I got around 70-75% defect removal. Not bad for an all in one.

Well that's all I've got. Thanks for reading!

Looks great wonderful work, Wife is in love with that army green Rubicon. I keep telling her to rent one first jeeps are cool and fun but not sure she will like it as daily driver.

nice save i just brought hd speed to try on buddys pick up truck does hd speed stain trim?

I haven't had any issues with it staining trim but I'm usually pretty careful while I work. I would tape off trim anyways if you think you may run into it while polishing. It's a good 10 minute insurance in my opinion.

Great work on an awesome looking Rubicon. I am curious to see what the durability is on the HD Dress.

I never had any issues with Speed staining trim. It's now my favorite AIO.

Nice work !!!!!!

I find taping jeeps takes longer than to polish jeeps, but then again, I suck at taping.
