Well, I'm done with my first detail. The car looks pretty nice, but now I'm afraid to leave the house lest the beautiful clean, shiny paint gets dirty again. *Sigh*
I do have a few questions - first, how do I clean the cleaning products? Wash the MF towels in cold water and then fluff dry? What about the wool wash mitts? And how do I clean the yellow foam applicators?
Also, I had a problem with the dirt on the front bumper and airdam. Bug guts, spots, whatever it was, it was impossible to get out. I washed with QEW, I tried soaking it with Turtle Wax bug remover, I tried Mother's clay. They all helped a bit, but most of the stuff is still there. Not super noticeable, but if you're nose to the bumper as I was for half the day, very noticeable and extremely annoying. What to do?
