Hey everyone, i have been searching posts and have come up with some products that i would like to try. I have a red 2004 hyundai tiburon. the setup im looking at getting is : SFX-1, SFX-2, SFX-3, Klasse AIO, Klasse HG and P21S. I already have a good car shampoo and a clay bar. Anybody have any suggestions about the products im looking at. Also the SFX-3 is a glaze and i know AIO will take out the fillers, could i just go straight to the HG and skip the AIO or will it not bond correctly? any help would be appreciated. Thanks

last i checked (MONTHS ago) SFX-3 wasnt a glaze, just a mild finishing polish with no fillers at all. if that still holds true, the setup you just listed will work just fine. polishing->aio->hgsg->wax

a few things though... does the car really warrant such an extensive polishing regime? is it really *that* bad where you need heavy polishes? do you really need a sealant *and* a wax? if your like most on here, your car gets attention all the time, and with that, a sealant and a wax is completelyl unnecessary.

thanks for the reply. right now my car probably doesnt need the SFX-1. but it definatly could use the 2 and 3. For the AIO, HG and the P21s thats just preference. I love the look of a carnuba but want the protection of a sealant. Lately i havent really been taking care of my car. I just discovered the site about a week ago and havent stoped searching the forum yet. I realized there was so much more i could do about car care. Thanks for the info, thought it sounded right but just wanted to make sure. thanks

I agree with Neothin you wouldn’t need a sealant and a wax, I personally would go with a wax, because I have different products I like to use. Now you also have to look what kind of products you are using because I have found that it’s not always good to mix all kinds of polishes, waxes etc. too many mineral sprits can be bad news for your cars paint.

Good Luck

if your looking for a wax with sealant durability... collinite my friend :)

i've used 845IW extensively as of lately, and i cant help but to say that i'm impressed.

How long does the collinite typicly last? just a rough number. My car is outside 24/7, dads corvette gets the garage. I love the look of a carnuba but after hearing about how great and long lasting sealants are i just thought it would be best. i was just reading about collinite and people are raving about it, i dont think ive heard one bad thing yet. Is the application easy? (easy on easy off) thanks

3 months. tC = outside 24/7. last time i waxed the car was for a show in the middle of january. It rained today and the car was still beading water. not as well as it did freshly waxed mind you, but enough to know that the wax was still present.

yes, easy on easy off :)

:dance Ok slight change. Ive been reading about collinite now and i really like what i see, protection, durability and shine. I think i will get the SFX 1,2,3 and get the collinite 476. Should i add in a cleaner, SFX cleaner after polishing? dont think i really need it do i? Thanks
