Question on Klasse application

I have never used Klasse before and just received my Klasse twins kit yesterday. When I was on the phone with one of the guys I ordered from I thought he said to use a spritz of the Pinnacle Crystal Mist on the car before applying product instead of using a damp applicator.

I'm wondering if this sounds right--would the Crystal Mist be a bad mix with the polymers in the Klasse instead of using a water-damp applicator?

I wouldn't use Crystal Mist on the applicator. Just make it slightly damp with H20 (water). The Crystal Mist has some wax in it and will interfere with the bonding process of the Klasse. The AIO wipes off immediately and is very easy to get off. The SG sometimes is more difficult to remove so some people will use a very slightly damp MF towel with either water or a non-carbuba or silicone based QD product like Final Inspection. Crystal Mist would create a problem with the layering of the SG. When you are finished layering and happy with what you have, you can use Crystal Mist as a QD. There is a new product called Sonus that you can get from CMA and that supposedly compliments the Klasse better. Good Luck!

Thanks for your reply! I had a funny suspicion that wax and this stuff in Klasse wouldn't jive when put together. Since he sold me the Crystal Mist it's good to know I can use it after I get the stuff on!

You might want to try foam pads when you use Klasse SG. It works very well, conserves product, and enables you to finish a bit more quickly. There are a few more reasons but these are some of the main ones. Laters.
