Just purchased 06 honda ridgeline truck, red rock pearl (a dark red) Besides washing, drying and claying do I need to polish and wax or just wax. Build date is 03/05 Just picked it up on 3/25 How long should you wait till you polish or wax on new vehicle. I've been using PC7424 for about a year on other vehicles. Only brand I've used is Megs. #9 and NXT. and #26. Been reading a lot on this site. From what I've gathered the AIO is pretty good. Don't really know what sealant to put over it. I'd like to get a wax or sealant that doesn't stain trim, but taping is not a problem because the ridgeline doesn't have much trim. I'm guessing a sealant followed by carnuba wax is best. Any suggestions will be very helpful. From reading some of these posts you folks seem to really know what you're talking about when it comes to making and keeping paint shining and looking good.

If you can polish if it needs it. If not just wax it. You can polish your new car right off the dealership lot if you want to. AIO is a great base for sealants. There is a vast sea of great sealants out there to choose from. My personal favorite is UPP.

Topping a sealant with a carnauba is a personal choice. I like to do it because I think it adds some depth.

Welcome to the darkside. The little sport ute truck is the way to go my friend. On my Baja I used AIO then Upp but mine is silver and I would either suggest SG or WG but that is just my opionon

That's what I'm looking for is everybodys opinion. Where can you buy UPP. Polish/Sealant suggestions keep them coming
