Im dropping into TOL store, and Im going to buy a polisher. I have always polished by hand, but as my business is picking up, and I get worse cars I need something to save my shoulders, and speed up the process. I have little experience with powered polishers, so I have set made a deal with the local salvage yard to practice on some wrecked cars. Now for the question, do I go with the PC or the Cyclo? Im sure Ill have arguments for both, maybe Ill buy both, and see which works best.
 
I'm not a full-time professional but given the time again I would buy the cyclo (I have one as well as a PC(which I brought first) and a rotary)

I'd buy both. As good as the cyclo is, there are some vehicles that it is awkward to use one where the PC will work better. I prefer the PC for the final polishing anyway.
 
I bought the Cyclo first and then a PC. The Cyclo is pretty amazing. I have all 3 now, but the Cyclo takes care of most things, plus, at TOL, if you buy the kit, you get those shampooing brushes and they work very well on the carpets, and are easy to change out.
