What is the difference between Meguiars Hi-Tech wash and the #62 wash-n-wax . thanx

#62 is Meguiar's Carwash Shampoo & Conditioner and not a wash n wax. This topic has been discussed just recently.



If you really want to know, PM Mike Phillips of Meguiar's; he is by far the most knowledgable person on Meguiar's products!

Megs Hi Tech was made for the bodyshop for use mostly for wet sanding lube if I'm correct, and found it's way for washing vehicles due to it's lubrication ability to float dirt off pretty well.



I have not used the other product, as I'm mostly using professional products.



My advise is to PM Mike Phillips for an answer to your question, as he is more qualified to give you the correct answers and to guide you on what each can be used for in your case.



Since I use Zaino, I use the wash specific to Zaino as it has ingredients to enhance the shine and gloss of Zaino. Zaino as you may know is a sealant. There are several sealants, and all have pros/cons and can be somewhat subjective.



Also, as you can see, they would prefer that if you have a question directed to one person, it's best to "PM" them. Try "PM-ing" Mike Phillips now for an answer.



BTW, there are several very good vehicle/finish washes, just find one that works and stay with it unless something else comes along that seems better by trying it or searching the forums.



Don't laugh, but a lot use Dawn dishwashing liquid for wax/oil srtipping, then back to their fav wash afterwards.
