Question for Barry Theal Re IPA Alternatives

Barry--in a couple of past posts you mention that "Window Cleaner" can be a more effective way to remove polishing oils than just a straight IPA wipe down, but I can't remember or find any posts where you go into detail about what you use or mix for this type of solution. So, do you still consider this to be an effective product for removing polishing oils? As an example, could one take 24 ozs of a 25% IPA mix and add .5 oz of 3D 50-1 Glass Cleaner (this would be a normal 50-1 mix) and use this as a more effective product for removal of polishing oils?? Or, do you have a recommended dilution ratio?

Why not just post in my IPA thread thats already 3 pages long vs make a new one???
The original post is a month old and it is a specific question directed to Barry regarding the use of 3D 50:1 Glass Cleaner.

We use a mix of original blue windex(75%), and acetone (25%) to remove oils and waxes form cars before painting or applying coatings.

You guys could always call Barry up on the phone at Presidential Details if he doesn't notice/post to this thread. Nah, he won't mind.

I contacted Scott Ward at 3D Manhiem. He said Barry uses the following mixture for removing polishing oils:

16 oz of 3D 50:1 Window Cleaner already mixed at 50:1

8 oz of 70% IPA

8 oz of water
