Question about zymol vintage

Hey everyone, i just have a very simple question. . .i've been fortunate enough to sample nearly all of the estate glazes zymol has to offer. . .but have yet to try vintage

last week my friend let me try some of his vintage that he has left over from his pebble beach sampler kit that they used to offer, and i was surprised to open the jar and notice that vintage is almost scentless, which made me "question" for a moment if it was genuine or not. it did apply pretty nicely by hand though, and looked amazing when done, but again, all the other estate/high end stuff from zymol has a strong scent, and this had almost none. . .

what exactly should it smell like? i know that is kind of a silly question but i don't think he bought the kit FROM zymol, so unfortunately it's possible for it to perhaps have been

"replaced" with something else.

thanks for the input!

Vintage could be one of the very few Zymol carnaubas that actually doesn't have a scent. It does, however, have one heck of a left hook!!

So rest assured that what you tried may have been the real thing.

That's a little more than I can handle when I detail my car. You'll have to let me know of the experience haha!

I'll have to check out that vanilla scent you're referring to come this season!!!

ah touche lol Sorry m34u2nv, we kind hi-jacked your thread! RRRG I was smelling my EG's the other day (dont ask why :) ) Vintage has the least scent of the three.

Hey thanks! Love that red rush though.............jess nothing like a painful red topped with an EGZymol.

Yes I am also guilty for hijacking another Zymol thread. Try some of this stuff......and you'll know why it drives some of us crazy!
