Hello All,
Ok, after claying a '68 mustang convertible, the finish felt VERY smooth but not slippery. Normal, in other words...
After applying DACP, removing, applying SFP, and removing, the finish was noticeably "slightly" gritty. I use microfiber buffing towels to remove the dry polish residue.
I am sure about this because I made a mental note right after I clayed the car and felt it. After SFP, the car was noticeably deeper, don't get me wrong, but it didn't feel as smooth as after the clay process.
I wanted to follow up with VM and CMW but my cousin had to go. So I just followed with QS as a last ditch attempt to remove the grittyness.
Any ideas?
I did my 2000 midnight blue Expedition yesterday using Clay, DACP, SFP, VM, CMW combo and it wasn't like this.
Any ideas? Is the DACP/SFP residue getting left behind by the microfiber? It looks completely clear though.
Thanks in advance.
Erik
