Question About SSR1

I have about a half bottle of SSR1 that I have not used in about 5 months, yesterday I got it out to polish out my daughters VW and noticed that it had turned into a liquid, I shook it up and it all mixed back up, but is still a thin milky consistency, any ideas of why it did this? My garage is kept at a constant 75 degrees so it didn't freeze. Any ideas?

just a note.......The SSR2.5 that I have had the same amount of time is fine.

Thanks in advance :howdy

I'm not posative about why that happens but I've heard it before. I'm thinking the solvents are breaking down the polish, making it thinner, even though I've heard from people who had the opposite happen, where their's became very thick:hmmm: then again I've had a bottle that's a few years old and it looks the same as it did when new..

One guess I had was that some bottles come from the top of the batch and some from the bottom... the top being thinner, the bottom being thicker ...either way they all still work ;)

I think it has went bad. I suggest sending it to me for testing. I'll let you know what the problem is. ;)

LOL -

I had the same issue with my SSR 1 - I continued to use it with no problems and actually felt I was able to use a little less than normal. It still works the way it should.

does this stuff go bad if it freezes? say temps in the 20's or 30's?

it could ..shake it and see what you get

at the risk of stealing someone elses' line.
send it to me for testing.

you have enough :notme:

but i havent even used it yet.

they are just over zealous testers

Yeah, you better send it on this way. I just don't think it's safe for you to use. :rofl

not sure if it would be safe to travel that far after freezing :lol2:
