question about LC pads vs other brands

:rockin Hello again. Im currently using LC VC pads on my Metabo rotary. i know A LOT of members here use a PC, which the pads are compatable with, so I was wondering if there are better pads out there or what their opinion of the VC pads are? Personally, I like them better than the flat ones.

I do too, I use them on the rotary, PC and Cyclo. The lesser owned/discussed brands include The Edge ( different attachment system), Meguiars, 3M-generally the waffle foam pads, Surbuf-MF pads, American Buffing--waiting to hear more about , SM Arnold-( apparently good but I don't see being used much) as well Buff 'N' Shine ( I disliked the one I have) and I'm sure plenty of even smaller names.

If I'm ever going to switch brands, the names I'd like to know a lot more about, especially in terms of performance, are SM Arnold and American Buffing

I aslo like the VC pads! I love that they dont sling at high speeds and when on high speeds it doesnt feel like an earthquake. I have gotten better results with the 7.5" vc's than the flat ones.

I'm watching this thread with great interest. I have wool pads that I use with me pneumatic rotary and Meguiar's 8" pads that I use with a Milwaukee rotary. I was given a new Mikita rotary and thought it would be a good time to try some new pads. I don't have a problem with the Meguiar's pads, but these VC pads do interest me.

Any other reasons you folks like the VC pads over the flat pads?

Greg and Bill D. Im just going to stick with the LC pads. No reason to switch now. Ive heard nothing but good things about them and Ive had nothing but good results with them. :headbang
