question about difference between 3M products

for a long time now ive always treated 3M SMR as just one product. but im starting to notice more often that there are 2 or more kinds of 3M SMRs? a finesse-it and a perfect-it? if they are different products, whats the difference? i think FI is more agressive than PI? are there other 3M products that are similarly named but differnt in that same manner also?



any input is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

I have the Perfect-It SMR because when I looked at the instructions, it described this as for hand or machine use, and the Finesse-It or Finesse-It II as being for machine use. I assumed that the abrasives were harder to break down.
