My front bumper cover needs to be replaced and the bodyshop says they will have to "blend" both front fenders. The car is 2 months old, so I am concerned about the new paint not being as good as OEM. I'd assume the new bumper cover will be painted prior to installation, so whats the big deal to match it up and leave the rest of the car alone?
If the fenders need blending, why not the hood too?
The car is a 2004 Saab 9-5 with flat red and clear coat.
