Hello,

I'm new to the this forum and was interested in picking up a PC 7424. :wavey

I noticed there's two version of the 7424 at propercarcare.com. What's the difference between the regular 7424 and the more expensive "ultimate" version. Is the model number for the ultimate version 7424P or that th model number for the regular one? TIA :xyxthumbs

I just check out Coastal Tool. I can't seem to find the 7336. All I see is the 7424. I know the 2 are almost the same exact thing, but do they still make the 7336? If so, where can I buy it?

Check this Coastal Tool link for a description of the differences.

Funny you should ask this, I just emailed propercarcare about this very question. The answer was that the more expensive one came with the velco backing plate the less expensive one didn't. I'm also in the market for a 7424. Coastal's only seemed to be $10 cheaper then propercarcare. Is that what you guys have found. Propercarcare is $149. Which pad kit should I get with it? :nixweiss

I'm probrably gonna buy from Coastal Tool. I'm gonna buy the PC7424 set. Seems like the best deal since it comes with backing plate and counterweights.

Buy the Coastal Tool set or a 7336/7336sp from anywhere you like, then get pads or a pad kit from CMA. :up

Would it be okay to use say P21S wax on the gray concave finishing pad that CMA carries? How about Imperial Hand Glaze on the CMA's white concave polishing pad?
