Quality Miami Detailer Needed!

Hey guys, trying to help out a fellow Mazda3 owner in Miami, FL. He wanted to get his car detailed and he was going to go to a dealership for a "$100 detail". When I saw this on the message board we frequent, I warned him of the dealership hacks out there. After talking to him about his car, I told him I'd I'd try to help him find some one in his area that could do a quality job. Here are some of his answers to questions I asked him:

1. I could pay $200 for a really good detail.

2. I want to do both (inside and outside).

3. I can take it somewhere depending on the distance (I live in Miami).

4. It will be nice a full out paint correction but, I'm OK with an improvement with good shine.

I'm sure it's a competitive market down there but I'm not sure what kind of prices people are charging. Hopefully, someone can give his car some quality TLC that is within his budget.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

$200 for a complete detail is really low! That's pretty much what the wash n waxers charge. You can try contacting Joyriide (luis). He's in Miami and might be able to work something out.

Thanks for the suggestion David. I don't know what his expectations are exactly for the paint. Education is obviously the key to explaining cost so maybe his budget will change after finding an Autopian detailer or maybe it will just be a one-stepper or something.

Thanks again! :)

hey, i would be more than glad to offer my services, but $200 for a detail is basically what i charge for a wash, clay, wax and interior... is there any way i can get in contact with the owner? maybe that way i can explain to him what it takes to complete a quality job and why it costs the amount i charge.

Thanks for all the replies, guys! He indicated he'd be keeping an eye on this thread. Maybe he'll sign up for the forum and chime in.

Like I said earlier, I don't know him, but him and I frequent the same Mazda3 board so I'm just trying to help him out. I'll leave the details of the detail up to him and whoever he chooses to work on his Mazda3.

Since multiple people offered to help this guy, I'm just going to post his email addy so you can contact him if you want to offer him your help.

Thanks again to all those that chimed in. I'm sure he'll be in good hands no matter who he goes with.
