How long do you let WG sealant haze before removing?

Anyone use AIO before WG sealant instead of WG precleaner?

I normally wait an hr or so....But its so hot in So Cal at the moment, i think 15 minutes would be fine.....I wait , or try to wait at least an hr before wiping any polymer product away...(Blackfire, Platinum, Poorboys, Wolfgang, etc....)

Rats!!! I only left it haze for a few minutes today before buffing off.

Guess later this week I'll apply the 2nd coat and let it sit longer.

Wolfgangs does not require you wait that long - your probably just fine -if your worried follow up with a second coat by hand and wait as long as you like before removing.

I would wait AT LEAST 20 minutes. If I wait an hour, it's much easier to buff off. I left it on overnight on top of my dad's explorer, and it buffed out very easy but did not help the look. You can buff it off after 15 minutes, it's just easier the longer you wait.

The biggest motivator I've had for letting sealants like UPP and WG dry for a bit before buffing them off is because if they are still 'wet' on the surface then they just smear and streak all over the place. I'm sure there are other reasons to wait, but I do it because its easier to buff the product off.

What I do to kill the time is start working on the wheels and tires. By the time I get all four wheels done it has usually been 30 to 45 minutes since I first started applying the sealant. I buff it off in the same direction around the car that I applied it. That particluar method has worked for me.

If you aren't doing the tires and wheels then perhaps you can do the glass or find something on the interior you can work on. Its not like you have to stand around and smoke a pack while you wait. You can be doing other things. That's why I don't understand why I hear complaining (not here, but on other boards) about the whole wait time. What's the friggen hurry? Unless the car show judging is in 5 minutes and you need to buff it off quickly then I don't see what the rush is and why people can't wait the 30 or 45 minutes to buff it off. Its not like its the last step of detailing the car. At least, it doesn't have to be the last step.

Funny the WG instructions never really give a time - they just suggest doing the whole car then removing (and add the longer you let it dry the easier it is to remove - but I have never had a problem removing it ;) ).
