QEW sticky

With all the recent discussion in seperate threads, how about a sticky. Central thread to discuss QEW, mixology of QEW, methods of use, and tips and tricks.



Anyone else see a need for this?

I could, but I don't feel it's necessary. This forum is dedicated to product discussion, and you're more than welcome to start a QEW thread if you wish to discuss the various aspects of that product. Stickys however are intended for a special announcement, or some type of special information.

Then how about sticky it for a few days then archive it? That way, those who use it and want to post tips can and once it is moved to the archive forum, we can simply direct any questions about QEW there.

This what I wanted one central place to reference info about QEW as opposed to 20 different threads. I need to work on my communcation skills.

The Hall of Fame includes several threads where folks have taken the time and trouble to write-up good, detailed instructions and analysis about the use/application of specific products. Seems to me that if an experienced QEW user would take time to write up those instructions, with pros/cons of various options, it could find a long life in the Hall of Fame forum. To me, that would make more sense than a "stickie" or something that would be moved to the archives. Any volunteers? ...
 
Lynn, I'll work something up sometime today and post it in the product discussion forum and other users with different methods than mine can also add their own process. There seems to be 4-5 different ways people use QEW so it would be best if they all have some input. Then one of the mods could move it to the Hall of Fame....unless we can directly post there initially.

If you want, just click on the "warn" button once you post it, and that'll send a notice to the Mods to take a look and (assuming you do meet the high standards we require in the Hall of Fame :D ) then they can promptly move it over there.
 
What ever happened to this idea? I have used QEW twice and it worked pretty well but was looking for ways to make it work for me better. A sticky would have been a time saver for me and it seems that QEW questions are frequent.

It would definitly be nice to see others methods. Mosca's write up helped me greatly, more edditions would be GREATLY welcome

I have no idea where the thread is. I know one was started and I posted in it, then hit the 'warn' icon to let Lynn know it was started. Maybe it got moved somewhere else? :nixweiss
 
Scott, I never got a note about it. When you hit "warn" in a forum, that note goes to the Mods of that forum. I only get notices for Click & Brag, Concours, and Welcome Center. So, like you, I'm stumped about what you wrote up or where it went.
