QEW okay on black?

I read alot on QEW and have been using it for a few months now. I love it, EXCEPT I am marring the heck out of my car in no time after polishing it. Anybody out there with a black vehicle have success with keeping it swirl-free with QEW?

The marring is super-light. VM managed to get it out 90% on my hood and fenders. I am washing, drying, and QD'ing in the same direction, so I might change it up to see where I'm screwing up. I use PakShak's WW and MF's from Sam's. Those MF's might be the culprit. What do you think? I'm awaiting the shipment of some from Poorboy's so I will hold off on polishing till those towels are in. I hate putting so much effort into it and to have these little scrathes all over. It looks super from a distance or at dawn, but up close...:scared :angry  :( :o :nixweiss :shocked

So QEW users, help me out!

If your QDing a black dusty car that might be the problem. I haven't used QEW nor do I have enough nerve to so I can't comment on it.

Jesstzn, I just QD after a wash where needed for water spots and such.

Mmmph, I'd say it's the towels then. I do everything from washing to drying with as close to no pressure as possible. I'll check back in when I get the new towels.

Thanks guys.:wavey

Are you using two buckets with the QEW? Also, if you are using two buckets, are you replenishing your rinse water when it gets dirty?

On my black 6 I have to use extreme light pressure on the chenille wash pad and when drying I have to lay the WW (Pakshak or Autopia) and blot up most of the water and then finish dry with another WW.

For Qding I ONLY use Pakshaks yellow ultra-super plush towels.

This is the only way I can find that wont mar my paint.

hope this helps.
