Finally picked up QEW last week and I've had the chance to use it 3 times now on 3 cars.



1st was on my MR2 last week, which sat thru a pair or so of rainstorms, so it had mild dust and waterspots on it.



Mixed up a bug sprayer with 2 gallons of water and QEW for use as a prerinse and then did the standard 2 bucket method with it.



Turned out great! took about 30 mins to do.



Sunday at a detailing 101 meet, I demonstrated it on a dirty 04 VW Golf R32 that needed a cleaning. I was impressed by it's cleaning ability ona fairly filthy car.



Next was my accord today, that was buffed and topped with mothers reflections at that Detailing 101 meet. . .there was splatter that I didn't get off, and it had gotten a little dusty (have driven about 100 miles since then)



I didn't have time for the buckets, so I just sprayed her down with the bug sprayer and wipped her dry with a WW and buffed with a dry edge of the WW. . .amazing stuff!



I normally, on the MR2 and today on the accord would have sprayed her down with water via the bug sprayer and then mist with QC then buff dry. . .but this works just that much better.



sorry no pics of any car after QEW. . .but I gotta say I'm impressed with it and have found a new item to add to the arsenol of supplies. . .

Cool beans. I never have had an urge to try QEW but i may so that i can pick up customers w/o a large water source.

yah . . .I'm an apartment dweller, though there's a nice coin op less than a mile from me. . .that gets rather expensive. ..especially for a light cleaning job. . .might as well do it at the apartment. . .
 
Blue-sun, Not to hijack your thread, but seeing the red Mister Two brought back very fond memories. I had a '93 red turbo MR2 that I enjoyed for 10 years. As close to owning a Porsche as I think I will ever get. Sold it 2 years ago.:( The current version makes me cringe as Toyota has now turned it into a girley poser car forsaking almost all of its original sports car heritage.



I will definitely need to get/try out the QEW, soon.
