QEW applications

I need a new job
Alright, I've decided to give either QEW or the optimum version a try. Quick question, I assume a grit guard would be a good idea for using this product? And also, do you need to agitate the water each time you dip your mitt, or does the product stay mixed in with the water well enough? I wish I had bought this at the beginning of the winter. My car would have been much happier

It stay mixed. I use two grit guards. It allows the Grit Guard to sit higher, therefor, when I agitate againts the grit gaurd, the dirt at the bottom of the buckets doesn't swim up.

I do not agitate. I rinse the wash mitt each time . I use a grit guard so I am carefully not to “swirl” up the water. The coal being to let the contaminates drop to the bottom of the buck. QEW is AWSOME, especially in the cold snowy Ohio winters.

Just did both cars yesterday in the garage. Was just under 30 degrees. In the 50s next weekend though.

Just to further complicate your buying decision . . . I'm wondering if you've also considered using the new Detailer's Pride 4 in 1 no rinse wash available at Autogeek.

Haha, yes I have. Hopefully I will win a bottle in the give away. Something tells me this is just the beginning of more companies getting involved in this type of product. Bring Em On!

I think you're right that more companies will come out with this type of product. However, I don't think you'll ever be able to find it at your local auto parts store.

QEW is really intended for RVs so you can find that locally at RV stores. However, I think competitors to QEW will all be boutique companies. From reading posts on MOL it seems like Meguiars recently considered making a product like this and decided against it because there wasn't a big enough market for their tastes. Boutique brands on the other hand have no issues with addressing the product needs of smaller markets.
