QEW and Zaino

Can ya?



Would really like to use Zaino on my new baby...however, If I'm going to be using QEW during the winter for my garage washes...will I still be able to?

Zaino, I don't use, but I do use QEW.

It sure doesn't seem like it would be a problem at all. Zaino is supposed to be extremely durable, QEW seems to be very gentle on wax and paint. Sounds like a good combination to me.

I was asking that question too. Most replies seemed to indicate that it was OK as long as it wasn' TOO bad. Of course, that's a relative term!



Let us know how you make out.

If there's a good amount of grime on my paint, I drive the 1/2 block to the nearest Blast-o-matic and pressure wash the majority of dirt off the car (no soap, just their high-pressure rinse), then drive back to my apartment parking lot to do the QEW wash. That way, I'm basically using QEW just to wash the road film the pressure wash doesn't get off; the vast majority of salt is already off the car.

Is the Zanio on it now?



If not QEW and start the dawn/zaino process come spring.



My cars are Zanio protected and during the warm weather I stick with the Zanio wash. This winter I have used QEW and have not seen problems. QEW will handle very dirty cars as I have found myself only once having to use a DIY wash - water only, to remove a coating of salt.
