QEW and The Absorber

I'm about to jump on the QEW bandwagon since my neighbors are getting ansy about me using so much water from the traditional bucket washing, but I'm a tried-and-true fan of the Absorber. I know that many of you have converted to WW towels and use that after washing a panel, but has anybody had experience using the Absorber with QEW?



I tried searching to find answers, but I couldn't find anybody that used both the Absorber and QEW. From what I've found, most people seem to wipe the panels dry rather than blot with the WW, but if I blot with the Absorber would that still be ok?

Nope, I don't even know what the "Absorber" is ... :nixweiss



Based on Scottwax's posts, I use a Meguiar's ultra-plush super terry towel for the initial drying pass followed by WW. Works like a charm for me.
 
The Absorber is a synthetic chamois.



I use QEW with regular MF towels. I haven't tried using WWs with it. I wouldn't use a chamois of any kind, because there's no nap to hold the dirt that might be left from the "cleaning" stage of using QEW. It would just hold the dirt/salt/grime against the paint and likely scratch it.

QEW with MF towels are wonderful pairs.
