QEW - An old friend revisited

We've had a really tough winter so far in the northeast (2nd snowiest december on record, probably the saltiest/sandiest on record though :) ) so the daily driver has been really taking a beating. Top that with well below average temperatures and you have a recipe for a filth. Today we got a break from the cold so I thought I would ONR my truck (daily driver). Turns out I'm almost out of ONR, so I thought "oh well, looks like it'll have to wait", but then my eye caught my half-used gallon of QEW on the shelf. "hmmmmm..."

Bottom line: I don't know why I stopped using this stuff, other than ONR is/was the next big thing. QEW works great, and it did the trick just fine on my filthy truck. I plan on using all of this before I re-order ONR (or maybe QEW? ;) ) The drying towels all came out clean. Just for good measure, I wiped the truck down with Protect-All Polish, Wax & Treatment (another great product) in homage to Protect-All :) For a truck that hasn't been washed since October '07 and hasn't been polished since October '06, it didn't come out too bad.

Sorry for the lack of sun shots, the sun was very low on the horizon as is the norm around here lately.

Looks great!

I have been using QEW for about 2 yrs now. I still like it and can get it from Camping World for $30 a gallon plus shipping. A few of us order it together and get free shipping for orders over $100.

EDIT: I just looked and now its $36 a gallon. :(

Yeah, there is a Camping World near where I work (Charlotte area), and I started buying QEW back in May when we began water restrictions. It WAS $30 back then, but when I bought my latest gallon last week, it was up to $36 + tax. I wonder if all the water restrictions have caused an increase in demand on the QEW, and they have increased the price in response???
