QD vs. washing?

I dont know why... but I feel quite un professional when I arrive at the clients home and ask for their hose, and create puddles in their street and driveway (due to washing). I was reading on the Meguiars website, and somewhere it said QD can be used as a substitite for washing... if its done on at least a weekly basis. Personally, I like doing this, it makes it seem a hell of a lot quicker and easier, and the QD leaves a nice finish. Its not like these cars are filthy, he is a basketball player (Maurice Taylor- Rockets RightFwd.) and I detail once a week. Swirls come about quicker but I buff them out w/ my PC and #9 so thats no prob. Anyone else do this? Or can anyone give me reason not to do this, or the opposite?

I still use people's hoses when I wash. I use a pressure washer though and hardly use any water when I wash. I can wet the vehicle and rinse it off and hardly use any water at all. A lot less than if I was attaching a nozzle to the hose and trying to rinse.

Get a pressure washer!

You could also just wash the vehicle in the street so the water doesn't leave puddles on his drive.
