QD+ vs. Spray & Gloss

Hi. A couple quick questions on quick detailers from a Detail City/Poorboy's newbie:

What is the main difference between QD+ and S&G? Is it that QD+ has carnuba and therefore offers UV protection and S&G doesn't? And does S&G provide a much glossier finish than QD+?

Also, I take it both would be appropriate for use immediately following a wash with Spray & Wipe, right?

And finally, as they're both quick detailers, do people generally choose one or the other or is there a good reason to use them both?

I ordered both along with a bunch of other Poorboy's products during the anniversary sale and look forward to trying them out when my 325 gets here...

Thanks much!

I have used many different QD sprays and currnetly using S&G from PB.....I find that his gives me good shine that just waxed look, but most QD's that I have brought have done about the same...So my findings is that they are both about the same for me.
What each contains I'm not sure on that one.

To answer your other questions yes after a S&W wash or any wash for that reason that 's when I use mine.....gives that just waxed look

Here's a thread that discussed this earlier in the year:

I find QD+ to be more of a spray wax. It should only be used on clean surfaces (after a wash or S+W). It's cleaning ability (on oxidation) is actually pretty good!
I think QD+ will last longer than S+G.
I prefer to not spray QD+ onto the paint, as there ends up being white dot residue all over. Not hard to wipe off, but still, a bit of a pain. I spray the cloth instead.
S+G has more dust cleaning capability than QD+, but less than S+W. S+W can be mixed with S+G for a bit of both in one. S+G is more of the "real" qd in the Poorboy's line.

Thanks for that, Big Leegr -- Good info. And for anyone else who might be interested, here's a post from that thread you linked to above, as well as Steve's reply:

Spray & Wipe = Use for cleaning
Use S & W anytime there is dust or dirt on the surface.

Spray & Gloss = Very little cleaning - no protection - high gloss & slickness
Use S & G when the surface is clean, and you want to add gloss/shine.

QD+ = No cleaning - adds protection(carnauba) & gloss
Use QD+ on a clean surface when you want to add protection & shine.

Actually ...a slight correction:

Spray and Wipe ...no protection

Spray & Gloss ....some protection ...has a water based polymer

QD+ ...does have chemical cleaning ability
