QD danger with brakes?

I'm new at quick detailing, but everything seems to be going fine--light mist, wipe, looks great--until I get to the wheels. The thought of shooting a fine mist on the spokes and having some of it go onto the brake rotors made me pause. Is this safe? Any danger of this lubricant building up on the rotors/pads?

Why not mist on your MF and wipe your wheels ?

I mist my wheels with QD all the time and have never had a problem.
