Puzzled by Edge Pads Durability

Phonar,
Feel free to call me on Tueday. I have been working very hard on the Evolution for about a year now, but we don't have the equipment to make the protoypes so I am at the mercy of another company who has been dragging their feet for months. The sales man at that company has made me thousands of empty promises about time schedules and he never comes through!. No surprise he was fired last Thursday, and the owner is now taking over the project. Maybe this will help it through, but if you want more info call me to discuss.

Thanks for your interest,
Aaron

Also, Nickis, I don't think faulty is the correct term. We don't consider the fist version of
DA pads defective. Just not super durable and not best product on the market. We are not the only company that has velcro delamination problems. In fact if you look through past posts you will find many other brands including Meguiars, Lake, and 3M also have the problem. The problem is from the violent vibrations of the DA machine. Its hard to find a way to glue a small peice of fabric to tearable foam and have that be the driving mechanism for the pad. Our new Edge2000 DA Durafoam pads have no velcro, no backing plate and eliminate all the problems since the foam is very durable and the drive mechanism is a plastic plate sandwiched between the foam. Anyway there are many people who have used our first DA pads without problems and I don't want to create a scare that all those pads are defective, they are not.

Thanks,

Aaron

Evolution

Thanks for the info Aaron.
I've been keeping an eye out since the Edge 2000 system came out. I love your pads and will continue to use them. Hopefully this new guy will get the ball rolling. I look forward to being first in line to get them.
Thanks again
