Put on Optiseal. Would DG 105 over it take it off?

I followed all of the instructions and just used a tiny bit of Optiseal. It definitely saves some time but being my first time using it I just worry about getting full coverage which is making me want to put some of my old standby, DG105, over it. But I believe 105 does have some mild cleaners in it. Is there any chance of it taking off the Optiseal? Do I just need to relax and put another Optiseal coat on and quit worrying? Rainy weather is getting near and I really want something that will last.

I have found tht DG105 last longer than OS. Altho I do love the ease of applying a coat of OS. :) If it's rainy season then, for me I'll use the DG105. :)

The DG105 seems to make the car a lot slicker and beads a lot more. For instance when I hop in after it rains, I hit the brakes it feels like all the water just slides off to the front and off the car, if that makes sense. I don't know if there's any value in that but it makes me feel good. With OS it's hard to feel confident I covered everything, but it is quicker to apply. Although I find the buffing part of DG105 doesn't take that long cause it's so easy to work with.

I personally found 2 layers of OS beaded better than 105 in good old rainy England ;) I could drive my car in heavy rain and as soon as it stoped it would effectively self dry in a few miles.

I just didnt get a good feeling from 105 - the paint seemed to dry out and stopped beading very quickly, although others seem to have the complete opposite experiences, which I just cant explain :( YMMV I guess:nixweiss

Right now its FK1000P FTW...
