Purple ccs 4" pads

Has anyone seen/used these? I picked a couple of them up today and was wondering how they work, they feel pretty rough. I going to test them out on the bed rails of my Dakota tomorrow.

are you talking about the 4'' purple wool pad??

If you meant the purple wool pads...they suck; doesn't cut well with a heavy

compound and doesn't last at all.

that's the only thing i know is the purple foamed wool but no purple ccs

Those are not ccs pads. Where did you get them? They sort of look like the fakes I see for sale on ebay.

I got them from showroom fx in Dallas they are ccs pads at least that's what the package of 6 I took them out of says

Hmm..interesting. They look very rough! If you look at LC's website, they do offer a purple cutting pad, but not in a 4" size. They are a 7-1\2 and 8" sizes.

I could not see the inner dimples yesterday but see them now.



They are probably just made for FX custom. LCM does a lot of that.

Thats weird... they work great for me. Never had the problem you're describing.
