PT Cruiser - Red red red

Yesterday i've worked together with Wesley (friend of mine) at a Bordeaux Red PT Cruiser.The car appeared at a decent state, just had a respray,

but after washing some swirls and scratches came up.



The proces;

- Tires/Wheels, Meg's Safe degreaser, Wheel Brightener and Tardis

- Started foaming but then the Pressure Washer died

- Washing with CG Maxi Suds

- Claying with Polyclay, Meg's LT



After claying we started both with our way around with the rotary, just received my new AEG PE-150, which works way better then my old one.

And after rotary both around with the Dualaction.



- Black 3M, waffle pad, Menzerna PO85RD 3.02 (Rotary)

- Blue 3M waffle pad, Menzerna 106OA Final Finish (DA)



- Interior with Chemical Guys - Fabric Clean, wet/dry vacuum

- Windows, Clearkote QuickShine

- Trims, BlackWow

- Jetseal 109

- Dodo Juice, Orange Crush

- Tires, Megs Endurance Tire Gel

- Vynil, Vynil & Rubber care

After washing, looking at some scratches and swirls;

Great day of detailing together, we both tried some new stuff, nice weather and a nice result!

Great job - that sucker is popping. Isnt the 3m black a polishing/finishing pad? If so, nice correction with that pad!!!!

Where do you find a brush like you were using on the badge? That looks pretty nice. Also, what did you find was the best way to remove the scratches on the inside, recessed door handles?

About the BW, did it apply pretty smooth? Is it messy at all to work with? It looks really nice.

Its the Swissvax Detail Brush, especially for the little detailes and body gaps. It's made from very soft hairs which don't scratch.



In this case we could acces the doorhandels with the rotary, otherwise I use Megs AMP followed by a scratchremover by hand



BW is a great product, you don't need very much and is a doddle to use! Pea size drop on a megs applicator. Buf it with a damp paper cloth and your finished. Very durable also!.
