Just a 2 hour drive south to Montgonery, AL. Same client as the Ferrari 365 GTC/4 I did a few months ago.

This is the client's wifes car, so you bet it had to be right.

car looks beautiful. I still need to buy some surbuf pads Bryan. Is the KBM cutting down your time on a car too? I remember you had a lot of experience with the black lambswool too.

Looks great. I cant wait to get a hold of some of those surbuf pads. (how do you pronounce "surbuf") lol

Great job, Bryan! (sorry I spelled it wrong in last thread).

How'd you feel about the paint on the gloss black lexus? I did an IS250 that came out OUTSTANDING with just the regular KBPCM and orange/black pads. (although it wasn't quite as bad as this one--almost!)

Thanks Sam. I could never cut all these defects with a black lambswool. IME using a rotary I would have to go with at least yellow edge wool (maybe black on some areas) with M105 or 3M extracut, follow with SIP/orange and then finish with 085RD.

Thanks Aaron! This paint always turns out so well it seems.

Still difficult to believe that was done with a PC. Beautiful results. :2thumbs:

Thanks Sludge!

Great work Bryan! Which Surbuf pads do you use with the PC? I have been contemplating a purchase not sure which series to get?

Awesome work once again Bryan! That thing was in pretty rough shape! :bigups

Thanks Chad! Yes I would say so. :lol

looks great bryan. I love the look of the flat black LS's of all years (no pearl/metallic). They're such timeless well build cars.

Great job!

Why not use a rotary for your cutting steps and leave the little guy for finish polishing? That should dramatically cut down your time. It came out looking great no doubt about it but I would think it's possible to get two of those (two step polish job on a large car) done in that 20 hr time span.

Oh yes the debate of the year. :) IME I would have to do at least a 2 step with the rotary before the final step, here I am doing one step. Prior to using the KBM I had used a rotary for 3 years.
