Hi everyone,

This is my ffirst time posting but I have been to this site many times. I have been detailing for a car dealership for close to 2 years now. My question is if anyone has used any of Pro's waxes and what you recommend for a black car, longevity is not a concern, rather the depth and wet look.

Thanks

I am thinking you are reffering to prowax.com's stuff.

I was going to try out their W-41 yellow paste wax, but heard it was nothing spectacular. Its a good wax, but just not up theire with Pinnacle Souveran.

On black, where longevity is not of concern, try Pinnacle Souveran or P21S carnauba waxes (both are greeat, but P21S is cheaper and S100 is the same as P21S and cheaper at $15 or so.)

Glaze + Souveran on black = :xyxthumbs

I use Pro stuff :D

I just used their Swirl Eliminator and Polish followed by Satin Creme on a 1999 explorer. The owner was really impressed and I have to say it really looked great!

Their Satin Creme is a great wax. I don't have any pics of it on a dark vehicles though. I'd say it compares to Meguiar's #26 in terms of shine. After buffing it off today I have to say Satin Creme is a LOT easier to buff off than Meguiar's #26.

Might wanna check out this thread. http://autopia-carport.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13063

This is a pic of my truck. I first did ProWax's Duz-All compound to remove swirls, then used ProWax's Swirl Eliminator and Polish to remove the haze from the Duz-all. This was prep work for Klasse AIO and Klasse SG. This pic was taken right after polishing. No wax applied yet.

Edit: Jason, the company is called Pro. Their webpage is prowax however.

Also, I haven't tried P21S to compare it to Pro's Satin Creme but I ordered some P21S friday so it should ship monday. I'll compare it when I get it.

Thanks for the replies guys. Intel, have you tried Pro's ProGold and if so how does it compare to the Satin Creme. I will prolly pick up the Satin Creme the next time I see the distributor unless the ProGold is better.

Thanks,

The Pro Gold is an excellent choice for black! It doesnt last long, but is a deep wet shine. Will streak sometimes on humid days. I go thru alot of this stuff. I use it before blitz, or malco paste wax, or pro yellow wax paste. The Pro gold is a good go to wax. My brother in law , has a mustang convertible that is black, an 88 model, anyway, nothing but Pro gold on the paint, totally garaged car, nascar motor, way too much money in that year of car, anyway, he wins best paint at every show he attends just about, and it is the original paint. You cant go wrong with the gold!!! :xyxthumbs
