I used to use PRO's Yellow Wax back in the 1980's. How does it compare with the carnauba waxes from Blitz/P21S/Soveran/Meguiars/Harly/Collinite today?

I don't have their yellow wax. I have their Miracle Wax and their Satin Creme.

The Satin Creme is their Yellow wax mixed with their paint sealant. I'd say it compares with Meguiar's #26 on difficulty of application and shine. Not sure about durability though. Didn't leave #26 on my paint long enough to test that :D Satin Creme lasts a long time. Think it might be the paint sealant that is mixed in with it.

I just ordered some P21S so I'll be able to compare it to that.

I'm glad to see someone else uses Pro products.

The p-40 is the best acid rain/scratch remover ever. It leaves behind light swirl and buffing marks that are easy to remove with a polish.

Thanks for the info Intel. I am looking to purchase some Pro stuff, because Pro and other professional products are available within minutes (2 auto paint stores, and detailing supply) from were I live. Also, I can not resist not trying something new.

I was looking @ the Pro website, for some compounds and polishes Pro lists orbital for application, is that are beloved PC or the waxmaster type?

What are your favorite Pro products?

So far I have tried the Miracle wax, Pro Gold, all of the quik detailers, #1 polish and Satin Creme.

I like the Miracle wax that comes in the can. I tried it with a high speed buffer with some succsss although it did tend to leave some small swirls. I used very little and sprayed the panel with a light mist of water first. Works great with the DA and a foam pad.

I've got the Liquid miracle wax. It is really easy to streak and if you let it dry too long it is a real pain to get off. It does a decent job at getting small scratches out though.

I really like the Duz-All. Works great at oxidation and swirl marks. Look for thread I posted called "Look what a rotary did" It was was a little red truck that was loaded with oxidations. When I was done the truck looked new! When I went back on a following wash she said people were asking her if she bought a new truck.

Their swirl eliminator is great! I'd say it is equal to Meguiar's #9 but I don't think it has as many fillers in it. Goes on easy and comes off super easy!

I like their satin creme. Compares to Meguiar's #26 with shine but is a lot easier to buff off. You put it down in a pretty thin coat so it goes a long way!

If they say an orbital for applicatoin, then they mean the PC type orbital. My Pro dist. sells DeWalt so I bought the DeWalt orbital instead of the PC. Works great!

ShinemGood,

You said you have tried both ProGold and Satin Creme. How do they compare to each other? Which one would you give the edge? I have tried ProGold and may go for the Satin Creme unless the ProGold is better. Thanks

They both do a good job but I would vote for Satin Creme, although its twice the cost. With a half gallon you will be waxing along time for about $26

Is that the Dewalt 443 orbital? How do you like it and have you used the PC for comparison?

I saw the pics of the red truck you did. It was awsome! I guess you like the waffle pads. I have tried the charcoal, not a bad price either. Do you apply pressure when starting then lift at the end?

With Miracle wax, I use a foam pad and dot the panel with wax from a paint brush. I work the pad over the panel into new wax when I have completed an area. It works clean with almost no wiping and leaves a great finish.

I like Presta for buffing products. I hate to try new compounds and polishes because it requires a new pad since I dont mix products on 1 pad. Presta doesnt fill so I dont have to worry about swirls later. I use Chroma 1500 with a lambs wool pad for most jobs.

Yep, it's the DeWalt 443 and I haven't used the Pc for comparison.

With the rotary I let the rotary's weight do the work. I'll let it sit full weight on the paint at first and then start to lift.
