Protecting the interior

I have a black interior (shouldn't make a difference just an FYI) and is Scotchguard still the way to go to protect the seats and carpets? What are some other opitions besides no eating or drinking in the car?

Thanks in advance,

Mr. Sparkle

Yeah, if you have the time scotchguard is a great product. Just make sure that if you spill something that when you get home you blot out the stain with some water if it's small or actually shampoo the carpet if it's big.

Can't say from experience, but I think that 303 Fabric Guard (isn't that the name of it?) is supposed to have better durability than Scotch Guard.
