Tomorrow I’m making an order from DC, for 303 protectant, Poorboy’s Trim Restorer and a few other things. I have a ? about Convertible Tops. I’m cleaning it with Megs#39, now as far as protectant. Do I use the 303 or Poorboy’s Trim Restorer?

I'm assuming that this is a vinyl top? Either one will work for you but the TR will leave it with a high shine super water repellent type of finish. What I do after cleaning and letting get real dry I apply then buff with a dry cloth so that you pickup all residue

I made my order today: 303 and poorboys trim restorer! See which I like best!

Sparkie -Use a foam paint brush to apply TR. Let it sit for 10 min, and wipe it off with a MF or cotton towel -reapply a second coat if needed. I think you'll like it :)

I'm a big fan of NL too. You might want to pick some up on your next order (LOL). I like using a MF mitt misted with NL with a few beads of PB's Leather Stuff.

It works very well on tops (a bit better than TR IMO). It cleans and protects at the same time and NL has a mildew retardant, which is nice on tops.

I'll post up something this weekend on what this mix does to faded trim too (I let it bake in the sun today to confirm what I saw).

Have you noticed streaking or an uneven finshed after leaving NL in the sun?
