Pro's and Con's PC 7424XP VS. Griots DA

I can't speak much for PC, because the one I had was a $20 win on eBay, and it was a worn out. I have a GG and love it. Its more powerful, cheaper, has a longer cord (optional), and has a lifetime guarantee that they DO stand behind. I can vouch for that. I would buy another one in a heartbeat. Your going to get great opinions of either machine, not to mention great results.
 
I have all three da's (PC,Griots 6"&3",Megsv2. The griots get reached for more often then not. The Megs may be a bit smoother but can't match the griots in the power category.Last weekend I dropped the griots off of the work bench. The black section over the motor was broken loose. Not to fear, I live within a few miles from the Griots warehouse. A trip to griots produced a new in the box machine with a new backing plate,set of brushes and wrench included.Can't ask for better customer service then that.
 
PCXP - Solid build quality, reliable, least powerful of the big 3.

GG6 - Gobs of power, can be found for under $100 shipped, lifetime warranty, you will need the warranty IME!!! :D


My GG6 # 3 is on its way out now! :(


Next DA will likely be the G110v2

Yes it has... actually in a different way... I have the Griots. Was looking at picking up the PC. One of the guys in my local car club has a brand new one in box for sale. So now I know not to bother... spend the cash on something else.:yay

Does the Griots use the same pads as the PC? I've got some 5.5" pads that work with the PC...might have to get a Griots if I can pick one up for $100 shipped...

The Griots 2nd generation , PC and Meguiars da's can all use the same backing plates and pads.
