Properautocare - Slow and disappointing - anyone else?

Anyone else notice slowness in their shipping and overall response? I placed an order Monday 8am, it still hasn't shipped.



I'd email them, but the last time this happened (last month) they were less than helpful, and I was emailing with their GM.



I'm 100% in for Autogeek, they never fail.



Buh bye Properautocare, lost a consistent buyer.
 
I've bought from them numerous times and they never failed to ship quickly or answer my questions. Hang in there, because from my experience, it seems the exception rather than the rule. Hope everything works out for you though :)
 
How jaded we've all become, I remember when I first started to buy stuff by "mail order", where you had to mail in your order with your payment. Even later, with telephone ordering and credit cards...tracking number? What's that? You never knew when it was going to ship, when it had shipped, or when it would get there. We're all so spoiled by comparison.



For every good experience at Autogeek, I've had a not-so-good one. Could it just be that someone is on vacation at PAC? Maybe one person was on vacation last time you ordered, and a different person now. Maybe someone had appendicitis...all of these companies are small, even AG...what do they have, 20 people? I'm not defending or attacking either of the stores mentioned, just making some observations.

Heh heh, that's what I was thinking...guess we're dating ourselves :o



I've never had problems of that nature with any vendor that couldn't be sorted out with a (polite) phone call. Seems like every company, in every field, drops the ball now and then...it just happens...but overall emailing/etc. never seems to get results quite like an old-fashioned phone call to a real live person (who wants to keep the boss, and thus the customers, happy).
 
Though I get most my stuff from Detailed Image now, I've had nothing but prompt service from PAC in the past. Call Angelo and he'll get things sorted out for you. :)
 
call them FIRST and leave a message if no one answers (this applies to any business), and i'm sure they will sort it out for you. e-mailing would be the second choice (wouldn't hurt to do both) if i couldn't reach someone by phone first...
 
free shipping and 15% off... chillax man, they are probably slammed.. they have the best sale going on right now too, IMO.

AUTOGEEK price matches - that is my answer to get great service.:clap::clap::clap:
 
PAC price matches as well. I just received my order today I placed it on Saturday. I have not had any probs with PAC or AG for that matter, I do like the free shipping over $49 instead of $95. Call Angelo I'm sure he will get it straight for you

agreed, and DI also had free shipping over $50 as well...

Why? What makes them so bad? The only thing bad I've ever heard of them was some pads separating.

I didnt catch the first line, you might want to grow a pair and actually say it.



I do not care for PAC all that much either, you pretty much have to love BFWD in order to have a valid opnion on that forum, what do you not like about them?
 
I think it would be best to call them rather than ask advice here. I have ordered once and got next day shipping.
 
Never had a problem with PAC, CG, DI or Autofreak either, but I guess any of them could have an issue once in a while. We all have our likes and dislikes for whatever reason. I do get tired of the pointless pissin matches that these kind of threads seem to evolve into.
